 Newbie Question
I'm doing some home study for astronomy and am stumped on the following
question:

Given the right ascension of the sun is 13h-36m-53.6s when the Greenwich
Apparent Sidereal Time is 1h-51m-56.7s, what is the equation of time?

I think the answer is 15m 3.1s but cannot explain why. Can anybody help?

TIA

See relevant tutorial on my web site. (I'm a tad loathe to answer
homework questions directly, but do get back to me if it's still not
clear after you've studied the "Time" tutorial, and I'll try to put you
on the right track).
