I'd guesstimate that a -2.75 or -3.00 would work. You might want to try
one of the new aspheric planned replacement/disposable lenses in a -2.50
power for better vision at an only slightly higher cost. Ask your doc
to fit you for whatever you need so that you can get a lens most
approriate for your activity. (Larger diameter lenses tend to stay in
better and ones with UV blocking would be a nice add-on.)
Using a single use or disposable lens for watersports and a "best
correction" soft toric or RGP lenses the rest of the time is a very
intelligent choice. A washed-away one-day or disposable lens as you
know is far less expensive to replace than a toric or RGP. You can
focus more on having fun than on your dwindling bank account that way.
Do remember to remove your lenses after the lake experience and dispose
or disinfect them.
