Keratoconus ; Success with new disposable Toric Soft Lenses

I was diagnosed some time back with Keratoconus (or some condition
with the same effect on the cornea) in my left eye.  I had a
topological scan done that confirmed the cornea was severely
distorted.

In the past, I had no luck with soft toric contact lenses (very poor
correction of vision).  I had tried gas permeable lenses but they were
extremely uncomfortable.

Recently, I decided to give soft lenses another try.  I have had
extremely good luck with a disposable (replace once every 3 months)
toric lense from Coopervision.  It gives me 20/20 correction in the
bad eye and is very comfortable.

As this has been a godsend for me I thought I would post the
information; apparently these lenses don't work as well in more
advanced Keratoconus cases but if you haven't tried soft lenses in a
few years you may find that the newer products perform much better.

has anyone else with Keratoconus had luck with this brand?

Andy

Congrats!  That's great!

Which Coopervision lens works for you, Andy?  They make 4 totally
different kinds of toric lenses.  (Frequency, Preference, Cooper,
Hydrasoft)
