Can plus lens wearers soft contact lens?

Can a person who has a plus  of +6.50 wear soft contact lens?
What does +6.50 correspond in regards to the Snellan chart?
Can a person who has had a catarcat extraction with no IOL lense implant
wear contacts?

Power is not the limiting factor, corneal shape and tear quality are.  There
are lots of +6.50 contact lenses.

Refractive error cannot be converted to aided or unaided acuity.  You will
need to ask your eye doctor to measure your Snellen acuity.

Yes, rigid gas perm, regular soft and extended wear soft are all available
in high plus.  Before IOLs I had a thriving post cataract contact lens
fitting practice.  But, again, refractive error is not the limiting factor.

With  lower success rates than minus powers. One reason is that it is
difficult see the lens when handling and during insertion and removal.
Motivation becomes an issue in lower plus powers.

If you are ten years old you can see the chart (accommodation), if you
are fifty years old you probably can not see the chart.
