daily wear vs extended wear contact lens

What is the difference between the daily wear lens and extended wear contact
lens?  Is extended wear the disposibles?  Do they let more oxygen to the
eye or what?

What is the best contact lens made ( in + diopters) and what makes it so
great?

I got a free pair of lens once that were clear (no handling tint).  They were
the most comfortable lens I have had -- they finally split :(   I had the best
vision with these too.  Does any manufacturer have clear lens?

Does Ciba make an extended wear lens in +diopters?  I currently wear Ciba
Focus daily wear?  Would I be better off with an extended wear lens?

I like the all-in-one cleaning solution from B&L (easy to use) but I clean,
disenfect, and enzyme once a week using the Ciba solutions (e.g. Aosept, etc).
I haven't had any trouble with it (BTW this was not blessed by the
prescribing doctor but by me).  Am I risking problems here? :(  Last August I
had an ulcer on the cornea of my eye when I was using the Ciba cleaners
everyday.  Then I swiched to the all-in-one cleaner except once a week.

Debbie: I'm up, so I'll give these a shot. EW lenses have been approved for
sleeping, daily haven't. Yes and yes.  Disposables are mostly EW, and they
breathe pretty well.

No easy answer.  What works best for you, I guess. Some cheap lenses work well,
and some don't. Some expensive lenses do, and dome don't.

Forget enzymes.  Go frequent replacement and toss them when the protein
builds.  Try Quick Care (don't mix systems!) daily and enjoy.
