Just in case anyone is interested

Just in case anyone is interested.  I received my glasses from Zenni
Optical yesterday.  The bows are very flexable on both pair of glasses
so I can see how one might understand Zenni glasses to be flimsy.  As
far as seeing with them.  I am very satisfied with my distance glasses
and my computer classes.  I didn't require any adjustment period going
from my old glasses to the new ones.  I will continue to wear my old
perscription sunglasses since they are still in good shape, so I am
glad I can go back and forth between the glasses.  I see things as 3-D
unlike with the glasses I got from Lens Crafters where everything
looked like 2-D layers.  And, unlike the Lens Crafters, the Zenni's
don't distort or smear up close images ie:  like the numbers on the
dials of the dash board of my truck.  I can still read the dash just
fine with the distance glasses from Zenni.  I did get the cheap 1.56
lenses, too.  I have had to bend out the bows to make the glasses fit
more comfortablly and I am comfortable in my skills to do frame
adjustments.  If all continues to go well, I shall be a Zenni Optical
customer in the future.  (I would never spend $100+ on Nikes because
tennis shoes don't last long and I don't have that kind of money to
throw around.  Last fall I bought my first pair of Nikes only because
the all-terrain shoes actually accomidated the width of my feet quite
comfortablly and the shoes were on sale for $40, still a stiff price
for me for tennis-like shoes).

Dear Orki,

Subject:  Zeni-optical better than Lens-Crafters  -- for $300 to $400?

Orki> I see things as 3-D
unlike with the glasses I got from Lens Crafters where everything
looked like 2-D layers.

Orki>   And, unlike the Lens Crafters, the Zenni's
don't distort or smear up close images ie:  like the numbers on the

fine with the distance glasses from Zenni.

Otis>  I bet Zeni would be happy to
here that!

Otis> Or Lens-Crafters would be un-happy
to hear that!

Best,

Otis
