Need advice on my case of low tension glaucoma

I am 40 years old, and was tentatively diagnosed a few years ago with
low (or normal) tension glaucoma in my right eye.  Visual fields
reveal in this eye an arc-shaped defect within a degree or two of
central vision, beginning on the horizontal at 9 o'clock and arcing
to about the 2 o'clock position.  Intra-occular pressure in this eye
consistently tests around 15-17.  Although on a regimen of 2 drops
of the beta-blocker Timoptic for some time now, the defect continues
to progress at a very slow rate.  I am extremely nearsighted, and
if I understand correctly, I have a high degree of "cupping" in my
right eye.  The retinal surface itself is healthy.

Ever since I was a child, I have had a tendency to get migraine-like
headaches, and often in the form of a pressure/pain sensation in
the right temple and sometimes more localized to the upper part of
the right eye.

Also, in December of 1995, I developed tinnitus (ringing of the ears)
in both ears and this condition has steadily worsened.  I initially
suspected cumulative noise damage (although I am unaware of
the specific source and have had no acoustic trauma), but I am now
considering the possibility of the Timoptic solution as a cause.

Does anyone have any potentially useful feedback on my condition
or any suggestions (either with regard to the glaucoma or the
