PLEASE HELP MY MOM-ANEURYSM!!!!!!!
I am 27 years old and live in Split, Croatia, Europe.
My mother is 55 years old. On 1. July 1997. she was very bad. She is now
in
hospital. Doctors said that she had brain aneurysm.
Doctors said to me that there is no special therapy for this. She is now
in
coma. first three days she was with us. She recognized all of us (my
father, my sister and me). After that she felt to coma but as doctors said
not deep one because she has some reflekses (like closing eyes when you
try
to touch them). They told me that only God can help her. It was very
strong
attack, and they tought that she will not be able to survive more than one
day. She is still alive, and fighting for her life. Doctor said to me that
they think that she bleeding still, but now on 3 places (in brain, inner
side of head, and somewhere in gastrointestinal region). I only know that
they take CT scan of her head and that they saw big bleeding in her head.
They told me that every inch of brain comoras were full of {*filter*}.
She is having temperature 39 degrees Celsious. There is a fear of some
infection of breathing organs. She taking antibiothics, peptoran ampulas,
voltaren ampulas, infusion (glucose, NaCl), some sedatives and few other
things. I am not medicaly educated and don't know what to tell to you. If
there is something important to know to help her please tell me and I will
ask in her hospital.
She is very weak and doctors think that she is not able to survive
surgery.
If she gets better they will do angiogram to see what they can do in
surgery things. She is also conected to oxygen because they want to make
her breathing easier.
Two days ago they make new CT scan. They told me that first bleeding stops
and {*filter*} was resorbed. But unfortunatelly she had second attack but this
time without bleeding..
I think that the main problem is high temperature. Internist check her and
said that there is no infections. But is it normal that high temperature?
Last two days she was OK. Still in coma but not so bad.Doctors told to me
that she has good chances to survive. This morning she is again very bad
and taking oxygen again.
I appreciate any advice. How can we cure this thing?
Thanks in advance.
Please e-mail me.
