Bone density test D.E.X.A.

 Bone density test D.E.X.A.

I called 3 labs for prices.  The highest is $495 and the lowest is
$250.

As I understand it, D.E.X.A. denotes a type of equipment for the
X-ray.  Can someone tell me the reason for such big difference in
price?  Does the expensive lab have more modern equipment?  If so, do
they produce more "accurate" readings?

Thanks in advance.
