p.. #1 / 3	ROC analysis I am interested in using ROC analysis as a component of a radiological decision aid. Is anyone reading this aware of public domain software for tasks such as computing an objective fit to empirical ROC points with a measure of goodness of fit, maximum likelihood estimates of ROC parameters (Az, and d prime etc), signiticance tests of the difference between ROC curves etc. -- Fille ... faille ... faux ... femme ... He's pretty much the leader in the field, so the programs are pretty comprehensive. Last time I played with them, they weren't totally user friendly, but that was a while ago. I know that the U. of Chicago phonebook is gopherable, so you can find a phone number, if not an address, through there. Tom Spraggins
