Zoloft, paxil or other SSRI ?

Can anyone of you give me advice which SSRI to ask for ?
e.g. Which has lesser side effects or works better ?
I had some negative side effects from Prozac.

Regards,

Johan

For me, Zoloft had the least objectionable side-effects.  I had
switched from Prozac which seemed to make me tired (affected
sleep quality).

Actually these days I have been trying omega-3 (fish oil capsules)
in combination with .25mg/day risperidone and that has so far been
working better than all the SSRI's and all the other AD's I've tried
(most things except for the MAOI {*filter*} and some of the tricyclics).

There is recent research (legitimate mainstream research)
that omega-3 supplements may be useful
in a number of psychiatric problems.  I have been taking them
for a few months and they seem to be making a difference so
far.  Mode of action would be expected to be a change in the
composition of the cell membrane affecting receptor function.
I had been taking .25mg/day risperidone (risperdal) along with
about 6 to 10 grams of omega-3 fish oil capsules per day, but
in the last week I suspected the risperidone was responsible
for some increased anxiety and I have stopped it for a while.
I will probably restart it sometime and see if the anxiety
returns.  But truly, the combination has given about the best
response I have ever had from antidepressant {*filter*}.

I've tried most of them, Prozac, paxil, serazone, effexor, welburtrine (if
you can call it an ssri) but I keep coming back to Zoloft.  It is great in
killing a low level anxiety that I wasn't aware of until I first tried ssris
looking for more energy.  I also noticed that I was no longer irritated with
various people.  It has probably saved my marriage.  Things that my wife
does that used to anger me, now makes me laugh.  Haven't found the energy
and enthusiasm that I've been looking for all these years, although I heard
some encouraging things about "GHB" in this regard.
