I am curious as to just exactly what benzodiazapines and ambien do to
the sleep cycle and what the implications are for long term use. My
girlfriend uses either Ambien (5 mg, often after waking up in the
middle of the nite)  or Restoril (1 capsule, 30 mg I think) around 5
nites per week and has done so for probably a few years.
