Effects of carbonated drinks on gut wall permeability
I need to know what the effects are of carbonated drinks on gut wall
permeability. We all know that one gets intoxicated quicker when
drinking champagne compared to white wine. The story goes that this has
to do with the effect of the carbonation (CO2) on the gut wall.
However, I have not been able to find any information on this issue at
all.
Any links, references, etc. welcome.
