Donepezil (as adjunctive Rx) for attentional-deficit symptom in "chronic fatigue" condition...??

I'm wondering if anybody 'out there' might be able to offer me some helpful
feedback in regards to the idea of trying (as a 'latest resort') the
'anti-dementia' drug, Aricept (donepezil), in a case of "chronic fatigue"
which features an attentional-deficit?   (Currently treating both the
attentional deficit and c/o "chronic fatigue" with Dexedrine and Effexor,
with only partial improvement in each.)

Hold out on doing that for a while.  I think that the activity of aricept
is not strong enough to classify it as a stimulant.
I was visiting a few neuropsych guys at $^#&() and they are finishing
trials on a pro cholinergic drug for both indications that will be better
than aricept and other inhibitors of cholinerase.

Yeah.  Coming are various kinds of low dose irreversably binding
cholinesterase inhibitors (read: nerve gases) in prodrug and pill form.
Time to stalk up on the old Protopam in the EDs again.

Meanwhile, Aricept's worth a try.  It won't leave you vomiting and
foaming and spastically dialing 911 and wishing your roommate had a
syringe of atropine, if you take too much.  It's pretty benign and
there are a lot of anecdotal reports of chronic fatigue people finding
benefit from it.  I know of no blinded trials, however.

Although, of course, there are reports of (sometimes serious) side
effects with Aricept.
