Gulf War Syndrome and Chronic Fatigue Syndrome
I noticed a thread here about Gulf War Syndrome. They ran a special about this
on one of the news magazine shows like 20/20 or 60 Minutes.
Scary! The war veterans interviewed who had this condition are totally wiped
out and the disease permeates their entire being. Their {*filter*} is
like acid and literally burns on contact with the skin. Their children
are usually born without limbs, deformed, etc. The disease is transmitted from
the husband to wife after sex...they personified walking Death
and the government at the time of the airing of the show a few years ago
was totally denying Gulf War Syndrome existed, refusing to help treat
them, no doubt because it would mean paying millions of dollars to the
guys suffering from this!
Really tragic to see this couple who were in the prime of life
(mid-20's), a handsome war veteran and his beautiful (one-time aerobic
fitness champion) wife, end up totally wasted away physically,
emotionally and financially!
Chronic Fatigue is bad but I don't think it compares to Gulf War
Syndrome. CFS is not fatal unless you kill yourself cause you can't
take it anymore. Although I'm not saying it isn't or can't be so bad that it
could drive one to suicide.
