 message for Dr. Casey
I read about a method of treating bph and prostate cancer using ultrasound. The research team at the Indianapolis Center for Advanced Research suposedly has developed a method by which an ultrasound transducer is inserted into the rectum, where it emits sound waves that destroy nearby prostate tissue surrounding the urethra. An instrument is being marketed by Focus Surgery of Fremount California to be used in this protocol. If this treatment can be used for bph, and prostae cancer, why not for cp?Do you have any knowledge of research centers in the U.S. besides the one mentioned where clinical trials are being held? Sincerely, Bernard Brian Klein
