 A definition, please?

I went to visit a homeopathic doctor and he mentioned a condition that I
have never seen or heard of before. I've been reading this group for a
while.
I don't have the correct spelling but if some knowledgable person can
help I would appreciate it.  He mentioned something called
"Spondaloathesis".  Again, please excuse the spelling.  I'm sure it is
incorrect but if anyone can give me the correct spelling I can research
it.  Thanks.

SPONDYLOLISTHESIS
is defined as a forward shift of one vertebra upon another, due to a defect
of the joints that normally bind them together, may be con{*filter*} or
develop after injury.

     Mark,

A doctor would give you a better definition.  I have a lumbar
sponda... however you spell it.  In my case a lower vertebrae is off
center or out of alignment.  There are several degrees to this
condition depending on the severity of the alignment.  At this time I
just deal with some pain but nothing will be done unless the symptoms
get a lot worse.  There may be other types of "spondos", try a search
on the internet and you should be able to make a hit.

I've heard of people complaining about back pain with prostatitis but
I can't imagine an enlarged prostate would cause a spondylolisthesis
(correct spelling) of the lower back.  I could be wrong, though.

     Not a doctor,

 A definition, please?

That was actually my point, although I lost my way while trying to make it:-)
I am assuming that spondylolisthesis could cause "many" different types of
problems that would/could be blamed on an enlarged prostate. Nerves that
run down the spine and on past the prostate (and there are several
IMPORTANT ones) could be getting pinched and damaged by the vertebra that
has shifted. A slight (or not so slight) shift in spine alignment and you
may get pain, numbness, spasms etc...     comments?

not a doc, just determined,
mark

Dear Mark,

The nerves that control {*filter*} and ejaculation passes behind the vertebra
on it's way to the prostate plexus.. For more information, please read Art.
9 {*filter*} Dysfuntion and Art. 15 {*filter*} potency in my web page.
