My husband has

Thick grainy {*filter*}
Slightly yellowish {*filter*}
Enlarged Prostate

He went to a good Uro in L.A. and had his secretions cultured and
nothing grew.
The doc put him on some very strong antibiotic for a week just in
case.
No change.
I do know that we both had Yeast infections at or around the same
period that this started to become a problem.
I guess if it was Yeast, this would have grown in the culture....yes?

If he was to try an anti-fungual what would you recommend? We live in
asia and can buy over the counter if we wish.

It could be that nothing was in the sample, or it could be that proper
culturing technique was not followed.  A negative culture never really
disproves bacterial causation, and, in fact, a positive culture doesn't
prove bacterial causation, either, it just proves that bacteria are
present.

In any case, consider drainage for a marked improvement in symptoms.
