New To This Group, Question Re PSA Readings

I am 62 and my family doctor is referring me to a urologist based on the
following PSA data:

PSA History     7/23/99   6/5/98  3/27/98  2/11/98  4/28/97
Norm = 4.0?     7.4       5.5     5.4      9.5      5.2

Past physicals have not revealed a problem, and I have no physical
symptoms that I know of.  I am posting to see how my readings compare to
what the 'regulars' in this newsgroup have seen.
Am also posting to alt.support.cancer.prostate to sample the community.
I
only know what my family doctor has told me so far...would also
appreciate references to good URL's which discuss PSA and prostate.

Thanks for your help, this is all new to me.

Hi John,

Here are just a few web sites that might help:
www.osz.com/paact/
www.rattler.cameron
www.rattler.cameron-p2p
www.comed.com/Prostate/

You'll will find many more links at these sites.   John,  I'm a PCa
survivor, and after doing a lot of research, if had it to do over
and I had a PSA of  3 or more I would run every test there is.

If you do have a problem;  and your find it early  you have the
full range of treatment options.

Good luck,
Joe
