I am Interested in Anyone's Opinion of My Symtoms

Would anyone in this group know if these symtoms are caused by BPH. I have
been treated for enlarged prostate for 2 years. I take cardura and see no
releef from it. Lately I have been more tired and pain during voiding. Could
urine retention cause this tirednness. I seen my uroligst last Nov. and he
said you can not blame my prostate for everyting. Could urine rention cause
blader infections ? Right now I have the classic BPH symtom-incomplete
voiding-needing to void every couple of hours-waking up 2 time during the
night-painful voiding-painful ejaculation etc. I have had prostatitis that I
hope has not returned. I am not sure what other treatment would provide some
releef.

I can't answer your questions but can say that my BPH doesn't cause any pain
(other than the figurative pain of having to pee every couple waking hours)
either during urination or ejaculation.  I also haven't seen any
side-effects of urine retention other than frequency.

Pain on ejaculation sounds more like an infection rather than BPH.
