Drug Discovery Technology -?Europe 2001
Where Science meets Business

23rd April 2001 - 26th April 2001
Messe Stuttgart International, Stuttgart, Germany

This congress is now the premier focus in Europe for scientists and managers
interested in all aspects of drug discovery. Participants span the range
from fledgling biotechs to major pharma, and our blend of formal and
informal sessions is intended to stimulate synergistic interactions
throughout the conference.

Although the sequencing of the human genome was an outstanding landmark,
there are still tremendous challenges in transforming the genomics
revolution into tangible products. Indeed, our conference theme of ?where
science meets business1 is a timely reminder of the significant productivity
issues facing the pharmaceutical industry. Therefore, major themes that run
throughout this meeting will address the impact of genome science and new
technologies on such key topics as target selection, lead identification and
candidate survival. Future organisation paradigms will also be discussed,
with significant emphasis on partnering.

With over 55 top level speakers, 80 exhibitors and more than 850
participants, Drug Discovery Technology 2001 provides an unparalleled
opportunity to hear and discuss the major strategic, technology and
partnering challenges that face the biopharmaceutical industry over the next
decade.
