their HL7 Chameleon product for C++.  This follows on from the positive
reception from the Visual Basic community of the first edition of HL7
Chameleon.

HL7 Chameleon provides HL7 portability by shielding application code
from the specific form of the generated HL7 messages. In this way
application interface code is future proofed for new HL7 3.0 standards
which are based on XML and SIGOPT. It is the only HL7 messaging toolkit
