Personally, having read much of the literature about MDMA and
from personal experience, I think he's overly worried. I haven't heard
of these symptoms, but MDMA does cause various muscle tremors
in people during the experience, so his symptoms aren't too surprising.
However, it sounds like these side effects go away when the drug
wears off, and after hundreds of millions of MDMA experiences by
millions of people and a number of research studies, no link to M.S.
has been found.
Of course, there are no guarantees. Is he talking a reasonable dose
(<= 150 mg) or a high dose? Is he dancing all night? Is he doing it
very often (more than weekly)? Could he really be taking MDA or
methamphetamine? Any of these might contribute to these symptoms,
I would guess.
