My doctor wants to put me on LUVOX, an SSRI that targets OCD without {*filter*}
side effects. Does anyone know more about it. Any tests done.  Recommended
dosage?  Comparison to other SSRI's?
I'm now using Prozac in conjunction with Klonopin, but still some OCD
symptoms are present.  How bout this new Luvox? How bout Serzone?

I >believe< that luvox is fluvoxamine, just recently approved for the us
but older than prozac in other countries... damn fda... anyways, My
shrink tells of a guy he had on Anafranil, then prozac [with NO
improvement] then Zoloft [which worked pretty damn good] then he switched
to luvox, and it was like there weren't even any symptoms left! This
obviously wont be the case with everyone, but its certainly worth a try

Yes Luvox is fluvoxamine, and your friend's situations sounds like mine,
except that zoloft really didn't help me.  I'm glad to know Luvox
targetted his OCD.  The doormouse was right!

It leaves me wondering if Luvox might not be better for ADHD as well?? I
take Zoloft for that currently. Oh well, i'm in the process of chosing a
doctor willing to prescribe rit or dex right now so...
