I have posted a request on  the vision board
for a new anti-glaucoma drug which has just being cleared by
the FDA in the States but no one bothered to reply to me.  I post here
hoping I will have better luck.  The name of the drug is Xalatan (latanoprost)
and is being marketed by Pharmacia and Upjohn.  I need it for my brother
who has a severe case of glaucoma.  Here in the Canaries and generally in
Europe this new anti-glaucoma solution has not yet received a clearance.

I would be grateful to anyone who would take a minute to check in the
drug register.  I want to know side effects - efficacy etc.
The present drug he is using just about wrecked his kidneys --
He had to cut down the dose.  It helps with the lowering of the pressure but ..
So I thought maybe this Xalatan could help.
