 dopamine RIs (reuptake inhibitors): comparing

I'm interested in the differences between dopamine reuptake inhibitors.

- pharmacology
- nueral-region effects

{*filter*} interested in: parlodel (bromocryptine), deprenyl (selegiline), Sanorex
(dopamine and norepi RI).

Thanks.

Deprenyl (Selegiline) is not a dopamine RI, rather an MAO-B inhibitor. By
inhibiting MAO-B, endogenous dopamine is spared metabolism and can interact at the
DA receptor just a bit longer
Bromocriptine is not an dopamine RI, but is a dopamine agonist, acting at the D2
receptors.

As a lay person, I would be interested to know if bupropion might be
considered a RI for dopamine.

Yes, it is exactly that.
