Scopolamine Patch Status

I seem to have lost track of the information concerning scopolamine
patches and their distribution status.

Are they to be available in the future or have they been discontinued?
Any comments appreciated. A URL pointer with related info would also be
great.

Transderm-Scop has been off the market now for probably 2-3 years.
Ciba, the worst of the worst in product distribution, has never given a
reason for their departure or a date for their return. Can you imagine
having a multimillion dollar drug and then just discontinuing it? That's
Ciba for ya.

Scopolamine Patch Status

We have been using scopolamine in a transdermal gel ever since transderm
scop went off the market...many of our hospice patients have excess
secretions and/or nausea..this has worked great..
pts are advised to place 0.1ml on wrist (do not rub in)..and cover with a
patch we provide...lasts for about 12 hours

would be glad to help anyone interested with more info..
