I doubt its production. I think alza makes them. Not sure though.

This will sound vague but I don't have the actual reference:

There has recently , within the last 2 months, an article in one of the
lesser journals (like American Pharmacy,US Pharmacy, Drug Topics, etc)
outlining an extemporaneous formula for a transdermal gel formulation.

I would caution those in hospital pharmacy to make sure your IRB
committees review and approve it before you have physicians ordering it
routinely.

As for retail, I don't know the particulars, but certainly your on firmer
ground with this one.

Any info regarding regs in this kind of thing, let me know.

It is available in New Zealand under the tradename of "Scopaderm TTS".
Made by Ciba Geigy. Not sure country of origin but may well be Switzerland.

Ditto here - Ciba Geigy .  I saw a predicted availability date and
as I recall it was about October....

I suspect this really means they have no idea when "Transderm V" will
be available again.

Its available orally but hard to find.  Have you pharmacist help.  It
might help until patch becomes available again.  Harold.
