This will sound vague but I don't have the actual reference: There has recently , within the last 2 months, an article in one of the lesser journals (like American Pharmacy,US Pharmacy, Drug Topics, etc) outlining an extemporaneous formula for a transdermal gel formulation. I would caution those in hospital pharmacy to make sure your IRB committees review and approve it before you have physicians ordering it routinely. As for retail, I don't know the particulars, but certainly your on firmer ground with this one. Any info regarding regs in this kind of thing, let me know. David Gibbs,RPh Lowell, MA

I saw a predicted availability date and as I recall it was about October.... I suspect this really means they have no idea when "Transderm V" will be available again. R --
