I help operate a syringe exchange program serving the IDU community
in Sonoma County, CA. Due to current California law, we cannot purchase
syringes legally in-state. We are buying them from an out-of-state source
that charges us .23 for each 28G1/2 .50cc syringe. Is this a fair price? If
not, can anyone point us toward a new supplier? We purchase about
8,000-10,000 a month, and that figure will continue to rise gradually.
