Just curious as to why Trans Derm Scope was taken off the market...
or has it been?  and was it an effective delivery system for the drug?

our teacher insisted on telling us about it, even though it
isn't available anymore, and he did not have a reason
as to why is was taken off, only that it was a shipping
problem.

      I don't believe Transderm-Scop was removed from the market. My
understanding is the manufacturer (CIBA-Geneva) was found in violation of
the Good Manufacturing Practices by the FDA at the production site, and
that shipments would resume in September. As of yet, I have seen no sign
of the product though.
