 Important Maya artifact uncovered in Guatemala

Listeros,

Archaeologists from Spain have found a Maya figurehead dating to
300-600 CE at the site of Chilonche, Guatemala. It is very well
preserved and is older than most of the site. They hope to prevent
further looting of the area as they search for other such artifacts.
