What odor is derived from the digestion of vitamin B12?

My biology teacher siad he would give extra credit to anyone who can
find out the answer, and i haven't found the answer so i thought i would
ask you guys.

Maybe a faint smell of almonds (from the CN- which may be a result)

What about ammonia? With all those amino groups{*filter*} off the complex,
surely they could be abstracted by H+ to form NH3. I think the CN- ligand
would be too strongly bound to come off.

I'm just guessing here, but from the structure of the complex, it would make
the most sense.
