Hi Al

That is generally what it is used for. I use it in combination with
Ginko Biloba, Excellent for stimulating the mind.

?Kava Kava -- Piper methysticum, or kava, is an effective relaxing and
stress-relieving plant originating from the South Pacific. It's been
used for 3,000 years by native islanders who pound the fresh root into
a beverage that promotes tranquillity. The active compounds,
kavalactones, have been widely researched for their sedative,
muscle-relaxing and sleep-enhancing properties.

My speedball recipe for stress:
Kava Kava (1 gram), taurine (2 grams),
ginko biloba (120mg), and GotuKola (500mg)

Nothing bothers me anymore.

Reminds me of a quotation from one of my professors in grad school:

"There's something here that should bother you.  That's one of the
things that bothers me -- that nothing bothers you."

These are my opinions only, but they're almost always correct.
"The difference between a printing press and a modern digital long-
distance network is that the press produces money much more slowly."

Yes. I have used kk several times and find it quite tranqualizing. Best
method is to put 200 or 300mg in a cup of warm water and let it sit for a
couple of hours. The taste ain't great, so have a lemon handy.

enjoy

I have also used kava as a relaxation aid.  I use it with Gingko
Biloba, and Licorice to aid mental clarity and sharpness of thought.
