Getting treatment within first 24-48 hours

My 19-year old daughter was bitten by tick and immediately got a little
bulls-eye rash around area. Dr.prescribed 200 mg doxy per day...is this enough?
He prescribed only for a month, but advises that since we found tick w/in
first 24-48 hrs, she shouldn't need higher dosage.

Any advice  helpful.

Thanks, Lynn
