I wish I could tell you something to help. But as for the nausea try
Ginger capsules. They really do help. You WILL get through this.

Ruth,
If you are talking about a few seconds of blanking out you where
you momentarily feel like you don't know where you are or what you
were just doing,  and then feel disoriented/dizzys afterwards
you may be having "absence" seizures(also know as
"petit mal" seizures). This was happening to me and I had no idea
what was going on until the doc treating me for LD told me. With
continued abx treatment(400 mg doxycycline daily for almost 3 months now)
and treatment with Taurine(an amino acid)the seizures have stopped. Also, an
anti-seizure medication helped while I was still having them( initially
Klonopin and then Xanax). I had thought Xanax was an anti-anxiety drug
but, it does stop seizures too. Hope this helps.

thanks everyone for all the kind words both public and private.....

Doc Put me on depakote for the time being.........I guess I'll have a
spect scan and an MRI ( haven't had one in 8 years) when I get back from
San Francisco

again, thanks for all your help

You know, I am really bored with this disease.
I wish it would just go the heck away , already.
there is just too much I want to do!!

Hey {{{Rufie}}}!

Yes, I'm also raising my hand for blanking out periods.  They're not as bad as
they used to be but I still definitely have them. Another friend and I were
just talking about them the other day and how afterward you just want to
scream "let go of me!!" (I continually keep checking for that little chip
behind my ear ;-).

I've been feeling the exact same way myself -  this summer especially.  I've
been putting myself into the mental mode of trying to push beyond it - this
may not be such a great idea . . . .  I took another tumble down the stairs
again on Saturday (hadn't fallen in some time) and we're off to the races on
the damned rib thing again!

having a hell of a hard time
Rufie,
What a great way to vent about this disease--I am BORED TO DEATH with it too.

Maybe it is time for another lyric thread to entertain us:

I have had this disease for much too long
There's so much I want to do
I'm bored to death with everything
And I need something new.

Somebody needs to find a cure
Or remission would be nice.
I am bored with being tired
And having my head inside this vice!!!!
