discuss it with my local fibro/cfs support group
leader who keeps up with much medical literature
and cutting edge things also. I, myself, have
suffered from fibromyalgia for ten years after a
bout of the chicken pox at age 21 (just another
herpes type) and a stomach parasite called giardia
that had me pretty ill for about one month. I
never fully recovered to my regular healthy,
active and energetic self. After much run-around
with narrow minded frightened doctors I came
across information on another probable cause of
diseases such as fibromyalgia, cfs, gulf war
syndrome, arthritis, lupus (and some lyme has even
been helped) with the use of long term antibiotic
therapy based on much research that there is a
mycoplasma systemic infection. Mycoplasmas are
difficult to explain, and somewhere in between
viruses and bacteris (But most closely act like
bacteria). Though I think the real truth will be
found that fibromyalgia/cfs is a much more
complicated and multidemensional disease that may
have more than one cause and/or several which all
 need to be discovered and treated-though more
work just needs to be done in the area of
upgrading our immune systems so we can fight off
anything earth-made or man-made that comes our
way. Look up mycoplasmas on the internent and/or
at a med. library (or medline on your computer).
You must already know that the standard treatment
for lyme disease is antibiotic therapy (I have a
best friend going through it on antibiotic
therapy-as i struggle with the fibro and
antibiotic therapy since i tested positive for
mycoplasma hominis and fermentens.) There is a
great research doctor named Dr. Garth Nicholson
out at the Molecular Institute for medicine in
california. Try typing in his name or the
institute in your computer and see what u get. He
has done much research on the mycoplasmas in the
cause of gulf war syndrome and chronic fatigue
syndrome due to the fact that he was thrown into
it when his daughter came back from the gulf war
very sick-he tested her with PCR testing and found
 the mycoplasmas- gave her the antibiotics and
she's well now and in med school- his own wife
also came down with it and he also cured her the
same way- Also, type in: "The Road Back
Foundation" and see what u come up with. It is a
group following the late researach and practice of
 Dr. THomas McPhearson Brown who found mycoplasma
infections in many patients with arthritis,
scleredoma, lupus , lyme etc. and cured many. But
getting back to your point about the Lyme
connection to fibro- there is a fairly high
percentage of fibro. being found to have lyme
disease also (or that was really their only
disease in the first place) but the treatment can
be the same. However, i still think it's more
complicating than just one infection cause- viral
cause- trauma cause- contaminated vaccine cause-
environmental pollution cause-etc. etc. (even
metabolic causes)- i think it is multidamensional-
take care.gena p.s.- Dr. Nicholson has had death
threats on his life from certain government
officials-just as Dr. Lorraine Day who uncovers a
lot about Aids government cover-ups etc. hey, why
get us well when we can keep pooring our dollars
into the medical and pharmaceutical economies?

I did not have CFS or Fibromyalgia until after I was injected with all the
Lymerix shots. Funny how that happens! Dr. Steere diagnosed me with Fibro. and
when I told him I never had ANY symptoms before being inoculated he handed me a
brochure about Fibro. and said "good luck" What a slime! Sad thing is, he knew
he would get away with it!  Sure do wish I had lots of $$$ then I would have
