Tick Borne Encephalitis (caused by Lyme)

Tick Borne Encephalitis (caused by Lyme)

My husband just went through this terrible disease. He came down with
the flu with a very high fever and then started having siezures.  He is
much better now (thank God) but the doctors here don't know much about
this disease because it is very rare in the US, but more common in
Europe.  If someone knows about this disease I'd appreciate any
information I can get or at least some place I can get information from
those who know.  My main concern is the seizure medicines he has to
take, the doctor says for at least a year, maybe forever.  This is
because he is not familiar with this disease and wants to be careful.
So any information would be appreciated.  Thank you!

Hi!  Thank you so much for replying to my message.  Nice to meet
someone who can identify with this disease.  I was wondering if I could
ask you a few questions?  Will you ever be off of seizure medicine?
Did you have siezures?  What type of doctor do you go to for this?  You

Thank you so much for your reply.  Suzanne
