Mary,
I thought this book - "Coping with Lyme Disease" was great. I have given it
to several friends and recommended it to many more. Back when my daughter
first became ill, a certain doctor at Yale told us she didn't have Lyme and we
spent 9 months performing every medical test in the world to find out what was
wrong with her. Finally we came full circle and a wise ID doctor put her on IV
antibiotics on the "off-chance" that she had seronegative Lyme (later confirmed
with a mitogen stimulation test). When she started to get better almost
immediately, I started reading everything I could on Lyme. When I read "Coping
with Lyme Disease" I just shook my head and said "Why did we just spend tens of
thousands of dollars looking for another explanation for her illness?"
