52 year old male, previously moderate drinker now very light
drinker (1 beer per month average). Physically fit, average
height and weight.

  I get red spots on my nose and wonder if this is a
precusor to the inflamed nose I see on  men - and if
this is an indicator of liver problems as well. Any
sources of reference material?

  Recently red spots occured after large intake of diet
cola (Pepsi) and have wondered if it was the carbonation
instead of the acohol.
