 heart burn? back pain?

Had biopsy on Monday. Been having heart burn most of the week and
tonight I have a back ache just below the shoulder blade (right side)?
Any one else have these symptoms after biopsy or from HCV itself?

I had bad backpains just below my left shoulder blade after biopsy.  The
combo treatment I think made it worse.  Now, after the 3rd week of
treatment, my backpains are diminishing.  Thank God.

I didn't have heart burn.  But this is a reminder that some of us
probably have other health problems.  My gall bladder is bad and I've
read several other posts about people having their gall bladders out.

While docs were seeing why I have abdominal problems they found out I
have HCV and a hiatal hernia.

My unprofessional guess is that after a biopsy people lay down more and
that would cause more reflux, etc.

I have lots of unprofessional guesses. ; )  LOL

I have had very similar symptoms: increasingly severe heartburn,
usually soon after eating, for about three years, and occasional pain
in the back and right side. It finally got so bad that my wife found
me laying on the bathroom floor early one morning, cause I couldn't
get off the floor after puking my toenails up. I was admitted to the
hospital straight from the emergency room, had a gallstone removed the
next day and my gall bladder removed two days later. Don't just assume
it's from the biopsy, or the HCV. We can get other ailments that have
little or nothing to do with these, as I learned the hard way. Tell
your doctors what is going on, in detail, and don't let them just pass
it off. Keep on them, especially if these symptoms continue.
