"Loved ones" of Cancer victims-survey
I am a clinical psychology doct{*filter*}graduate student studying the
experiences of spouses/partners, relatives, and close friends of someone
with a serious illness which cannot be cured, such as AIDS or terminal
cancer. If you would like to share your experiences so that others may
learn from them, I will e-mail a questionnaire for you to "fill out" and
return to me via e-mail. This questionnaire takes about 10 minutes to
complete.
In addition to being part of my dissertation, this study is being
conducted as part of a class requirement for Psychology 557 at the
University of Tennessee. If you have any questions, please call Dr. John
Lounsbury (423) 974-3243 (Campus Address: Department of Psychology, 312F
Austin Peay). Your responses will be treated as being anonymous. You are
under no obligation whatsoever to answer any question you do not wish to
answer.
have read this information and agree to participate. You may decide not
to continue at any point. If you would be willing to complete a longer
set of questionnaires (taking approximately 30 minutes to complete),
please let me know. Your help is greatly appreciated. Feel free to
contact me if you have any questions.
Thank you,
