 "What Is ALS?" For Kids

I wanted to make sure that everyone here checked out the new web page that Kyle
Hahn and Terry Frank have designed to explain ALS to kids. They have added it
to the March of Faces Web Site.  I just had my 10 year old take the tour and
she loved it.  It is very user friendly and is written from a perspective that
kids can appreciate and learn from. And best of all it is fun!  Great job Kyle
and Terry!
I hope you will all check it out!

 "What Is ALS?" For Kids
This made me think of a question.  What do you say to the five year old kids that
approach you at the market and ask "Why are you in a wheelchair?".

"My muscles don't work very well anymore" leaves them puzzled, and forget about
explaining ALS on the spot.  Now I use a line a quad told me:

"I didn't look both ways before crossing the street."
