Carol, are we to assume that you dispute the local, state, federal and
international scientific data that prooves fluoride reduces decay?

Carol you state "It says they've all been brainwashed into believing
fluoride is necessary, safe and benficial, when in, fact, science says it
is not." Well 2 out of 3 ain't bad. You are right as far as we know
fluoride is NOT necessary.
Is it safe? As far as the ADA, AMA, WHO and probably hundreds of other
organizations are concerned, it is safe. Yes we are all aware that YOUR
interpetation of the data suggests that it is unsafe.
Is it benficial? Once again the scientific community has proven beyond
a reasonable doubt that fluoride reduces the level of decay dramatically.

Carol, This is a public health issue. Do the achieved benefits to the
majority out weigh the risks to the individual? In the vast majority of
opinions of public health officials. The benefits outwiegh the risks.

I'm glad you realize that fluoride is not necessary.

I'ts your BELIEF that they did the studies to prove fluoride is safe.  No
studies have ever been done to prove the safety of fluoride.  Most
dentists agree that too much fluoride is NOT safe in large amounts.
What is the level of fluoride ingestion that ceases to be "beneficial" and
starts being harmful?

The problem is the average American is unaware that there are any risks at
all associated with fluoridated water.  In fact, the average American
doesn't even know if there is fluoride in their water supply.  If they do,
they  don't even know why it's there.   Many parents are over-dosing their
children with fluoride because they haven't been informed enough about
fluoride from the medical, health and dental professionals.
