No not for certain.Amalgam use is very controversial.There is no
irrefutable research to show amalgam causes problems,however its use is
declining as alternative fillings become better.However in my opinion
there are some circumstances where there is no viable alternative to
amalgam.No professional body recommends the removal of amalgam fillings
in order to remove any"health risk"
