BLT with extra arsenic, please!

Let's say I go to a restaurant and I order a tuna
fish sandwich.  The owner, unbeknownst to me puts a
teaspoon of arsenic in it for good taste.  I find
out and I call the police.

The owner is in deep trouble.

Next I go to the dentist. He installs an amalgam
restoration.  Some folks right here at SMD think
that this condition is exactly the same as the
above case.

It is not!

Epidemiology says that 100% of the folks ordering
the tuna fish sandwich will die.  Course of action
A causes result B.  Its not disputed.

Epidemiology does not agree that amalgam causes
anything at all except one less place for you, the
patient to dig the cooking.net">food out of, although it may be
less than 100%.

100,000 dentists and their 100,000 dental
assistants who played with amalgam and mercury from
1900 til 1960 too have not exhibited an increased
preponderance of anything at all other than
increased wealth due to their activities.

Period.

Cheers,

Joel M. Eichen, D.D.S.

PS-So why all the chatting about nothing at all?

I got threatened when I accidently cross post so I put most amalgam

Logic suggests that mercury is an antagonist, the dentist is not 'cross
pollinating' like those in other employment. However I could name a
dental nurse with special child, dentist retired with major health
problem, dental relative with a brain tumor. Although the occupational
standing is secure, the downfall is faster. This is not my problem, they
have preferential treatment and resources. My problem is with those who
fall victim, mainly children and mothers with the potential for excess
in the absence of industrial tribunal.

People love to think that there are conspiracies under every rock or behind
every corner.

1. another shooter with JFK
2. UFO's - talk about internet sites
3. fluoride used to be a communist plot to take over America.  Now that we have
no viable communist threat, fluoride is a {*filter*} by the government to ...
you fill in the blanks
4, etc etc etc

just because a lot of people talk about it does not make it so.  Joel is right
on the epidemology issue.  With so many people having had amalgam fillings over
the years it would seem to be a simple matter to prove yet there is virutally
no evidence of problems.  This recent banning by the Brisitsh government has
been blown totally out of proportion on the internet.  The comments have
generally been "British Government Bans Amalgam for Preggies!"  The official
comment by the British government was that there was no evidence that silver
amalgam is a health risk but to be sure for pregnant women let't not take any
chances until all the research is done.  Fair enough but let's tell the truth
OK.

I think this is too silly to reply, try this:
Aliens are in the sewers collecting the lithium, and the psychologists are in on it
prescribing prozac.

Pathology involves the protein cell, that requires collecting evolutionary evidence
of protein cell disease, eg. 150 years of diabetes on the increase. I see no
evidence to determine the difference between the genetic vs. fetal route of
pathogen. Who would pay for it? Is this trend in bioscience responsible for the
increase of new protein cell disease and its incurable pathology? The medical
contraindication of amalgam has not been ruled out.

But Maz, there are aliens in the sewers, aren't there?

The medical contraindication of (amalgam, aspirin, swiss cheeze,
velveeta, bannanas, renuzit air freshener, adidas sneakers, coffee,
tea, coke, {*filter*}, you fill in the rest - I'm tired)  has not been
ruled out.

Cheers,

Joel

{*filter*} protein cell... where methylmercury uptakes, is then 'organic mercury'.

Dear Joel,

You write:

Quote:
>Epidemiology does not agree that amalgam causes
>anything at all except one less place for you, the
>patient to dig the cooking.net">food out of, although it may be
>less than 100%.

How to interprete this? Do you think that amalgam
is not a dangerous or lethal compound.

Or just that is not dangerous in teeth?

Hans

Hi maz,
Im sorry...what the heck is a "{*filter*} protein cell " ? I know {*filter*} cells (erythrocytes,
leukocytes, lymphocytes, monocytes, granulocytes, thrombocytes (although those aren`t
"cells" in the true meaning)...did I miss some?), and I know {*filter*} proteins, like albumin,
prealbumin, prothrombin, transferrin, caeruloplasmin, fibrinogen etc.etc...., but those
arent in the {*filter*} cells. I still haven`t got a clue what {*filter*} protein cells might be. Do
you mean the protein in {*filter*} cells ? Which protein ? In which {*filter*} cells ? Please help !
Could anybody give me a hint ?
Best regards
Hannes
