Orthodontics can be done pretty much at any age. You don't have growth
and development working for you (of course) and tooth movement may be
slower. You have to be particularly careful in the presence of
periodontal disease.
I actually don't see too many news readers with crooked teeth. I'm
getting more used to seeing perfectly straight, radioactive white teeth
(what we'd refer to in the trade as "Chicklets". Of course, some
character actors would probably lose work if their teeth were straightened:
