I love it.  This debate will never end until a total abandonment of
amaglam is used in dentistry.  I personally don't use amalgam in my
practice unless I feel it would be more beneficial for the patient
(ie. subgingival root fillings where a composite or glass ionomer will
not last long term).

I bet we will be questioning its use for the next 5-10 years!  For all
those out there with "problems caused by mercury toxicity" due to
amalgam placement or removal, there are so many more who haven't had
any issues whatsoever, myself included.

If Jan Drew did not exist, we'd have to invent her. What better
business model than Jan Drew telling the world that amalgam is going
to kill them?

If we ever said this, we'd lose our licenses, but Jan, please post
away!

We love the excess business.

Most comes from Jan
I have not seen Jan debating the amalgam issue.
Has anyone seen Jan debating the amalgam issue?

Jan is still posting the same stuff years later - from same sources - every
hour or so.
This is not a debate - unfortunately - its a cracked record.

Personally, I'm beginnig to feel that the whole thing is becoming
pathetic... and for once, that is NO JOKE on my part. If she were at
LEAST an elderly ex-dental assistant who had worked for enough years,
and for a couple of dentist, and so that she had a handle on what the
real world of dentistry is all about, I would listen. Such a person
would be in a position to give some relevant evaluations from the other
side of the chair. This is not the case.
