What is happening with Doxadent [moving the debate to upcoming amalgam alternatives]
DoxaDent is trying to find its place in dentistry.
And that takes time. I have adviced the company
not to focus their information on the advantages
with DoxaDent to the public, but to the dentists.
This is to avoid patients asking their dentist for
a filling material s/he never has heard of. That
means it will take even longer time before it is
public knowledge.
DoxaDent should NOT be regarded as a filling
material that is developed because risks with
amalgam, but a material that in many clinical
situations are better than any other per date
existing material (inluding composites).
