Atridox and SRP: Together economically justified?

Have you an opinion on the use of Atridox in conjuntion with SRP? Is there
there a useful marginal benefit to justify the cost? Patient is female, 45
years old, with a localized pocket at 7 and remainder at 2-3.

Would SRP alone yield about the same results? What do you think about SRP as
a prudent step prior to surgery (e.g., to reduce the amount of surgery
needed, etc.).

Lastely, do you believe that use of Atridox (et al) might upset the
bacteriological balance and exacerbate problems?

Atridox and SRP: Together economically justified?
The periodontist I refer to likes Atridox, and feels it is useful in localized
areas.  He feels he gets a 1-2 mm increased attachment gain on average, compared
to SRP alone.
Can't imagine a signif. disruption of {*filter*}flora.  That's the whole point
of  localized therapy, isn't it?
