Subject: my sister's new teeth

My sister had a couple of teeth with big amalgam fillings replaced with
porcelain fillings and her teeth now look GORGEOUS, just like new.
Sibling rivalry and all that - my teeth in that area are crowned, and look
crummy.
Is there anyway (when time and money permit) I can make my teeth look good
again?

Do you believe in reincarnation?
I still notice that people with whitish teeth fare much better cosmetically
when it comes to crowns.
My observation:
The crowns look best and hold up best when done before they are actually
needed.
By the time a tooth NEEDS a crown it is usually compromised.
Have any strides been made in the past few years so
those of us with yellow crowns don't have to be ugly ducklings?
Yeah ..... Captek crowns will look good .... very good. The problem with
PFMs (porcelain-fused-to-metal) is the metal needs to be opaqued. The
opaquing does not transmit light, hence the greying of the tooth near the
gum line.
SHe has crowns
too, and hers match perfectly.
You're never too old to be jealous of your older sister! :)
Sounds like the start of a good TV commercial!
